This is the best food in the area! I try to come as often as I can. The lamb chops , fish and steaks are comparable to some if the best restaurants in Boston. I go to Bankroft in Burlington for lunch, and Amelia's beats them hands down!
Food and service were great. We couldn't have asked for anything better. When I am back in town I will be back.

My boyfriend and I came here last night for dinner for the first time and had a very pleasant experience. We were big fans of Amelia's sister restaurant Sofia in West Roxbury which recently closed and wanted to check out their other location. The menu at Amelia's is almost identical to the old menu at Sofia and the restaurant is decorated similarly. We both ordered a 20 ounce Delmonico steak with a Gorgonzola sauce. The meat was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. We also shared a size of Brussel sprouts with bacon and apples and for our appetizer we ordered a special on the menu that evening- something that was similar to eggplant parmasan without the cheese. Our server was attentive and accommodating. All around, I give Amelia's 5 stars and would definitely come back. Food: 5 stars Service: 5 stars Ambiance: 5 stars
